Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's sons - was born at Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. The mother of the child was home and was also a mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her older brother. She has three siblings. McCormick started singing and performing at a very young age. Following her win in her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6 an old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see if McCormick wanted to get involved in the industry of entertainment. McCormick was hired to star in her first big performance in 1964 on a tv commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical The Wind It up until It Breaks in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was in the company of over 1200 other kids for the part of the eldest daughter to be a part of The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed, newlyweds who had a blended-family. It lasted five years. McCormick disclosed the story Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity with Barry Williams during the five-year duration in the series. He was 19 years old. She was 16. The two of us could have been in a romance, she said. But the timing wasn't just right.
