Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell has been a Canadian actor, model and entrepreneur for over 10 years. She is most well-known for her role as Emily Fields, she is one of the stars on the Freeform television show Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo is the nickname of an avid Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fan who was a hit with her acquaintances. While she was a little girl, her interest in the art of performing grew. Her parents told her that one day she wanted to work for a living doing performing arts. When she was a star in dance and modeling and acting, she decided to test her hand at acting, and started acting lessons in Toronto. After scoring a couple of advertisements and guest roles on TV shows Mitchell received her first big break after being cast as Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars. Her performance was well-received by her acting skills and also by the audience. Then she went on to be a star on the screen, by starring in films like Dreamland, Mother's Day and The Possession of Hannah Grace. The Psychological thriller You that she was a part of, earned her greater recognition. Shay Mitchell is not only an actress, she has also dabbled in writing. Together with Michaela Blayne, Mitchell wrote the adult novel Bliss.
