Davis was a professional since age three, when she was a part of television ads. As a small child, Davis was cast as a character in the TV show Charles In Charge. After just one audition, Davis was admitted to the famed Actors Studio as a member that had working privileges. She was made a Lifetime Member with a single invitation to audition. Over one thousand actors took part in auditions, making Davis just two actors to be accepted in the year that she was accepted.
